With these boots I can wear tights alone and my feet stay toasty. The thing that I don't like about these boots is that they need "breaking in" for easy entry/exit. They are getting better as I wear them more. I love the crystals and the fur, also the fur loosens up with wear. Yes I would reccommend these boots to all that like to keep their feet warm, dry and not be too afraid of slipping.

Unfortunately, the boot was uncomfortable. The fur gap at the front wasn't aethetically pleasing. The boot also wasn't as warm as I expected for the bulk.

My only issue was that you need to wear heavier weight socks to avoid blisters on the back of your ankles from where the boot parts are attached in the main boot. The shearling liners are divine!

Answer I would say for most yes, but I have ordered this boot twice and returned due to the fact that my heels ride up every time I walk. So for you people out there who have narrow heels I would not recommend buying this boot unless you have no problem spending a lot of money on shoes that don't fit properly.|I truly love this boot, the look and style.... I was very SAD to have to return them.

Answer The shaft height is 12" , that's measured from the sole to the top of the boot. Unfortunately the Sorel Joan of Arctic Reserve Winter Pac Boot is not made in a wide calf size.
