Small and narrow and uncomfortable. Not a sandal that fits a 12/13 foot. Oh well.

I have always loved Dansko shoes. I have worn the "professional" clog for more than 10 years now and those shoes last longer than any other shoe I've owned and even as they're getting "worn down," my body doesn't feel the negative effects. That being said, the shoe part of these sandals feels very similar to the fit of the clogs. You cannot beat the Dansko foot bed. The top part of this sandal is not only cute but also tight enough to hold onto my foot while I walk. I'd say I have a pretty average sized foot in all dimensions (not wide, not narrow, normal arch, etc). Two other things to note: the "wood" isn't actually wood. It's just colored that way. Therefore, the sandals are much lighter than if they were wooden clogs. Also, since the forefoot is raised slightly, the height of the heel isn't as drastic as it looks in the picture. I absolutely am terrible at walking in heels and have never been able to master it. I have no trouble walking comfortably in these sandals.

I have super-giant feet and it's hard to get a fashionable, let alone comfortable women's shoe. These sandals fit my size 13 feet and weren't too expensive. I did have to shoe oil the top to soften them up a bit since they rubbed at first, but the softening worked and they are very comfortable.

I have never been able to wear Dansko, but had tried some sandals on in the store like this and they seemed like they were going to be ok. So when I found these I was really excited to be able to get some really nice shoes for a good deal and knowing they would last well. The walking portion of them is fine, the footbed is comfortable as described in the ad for them. I can't handle the top though. It rubs on the top of my foot constantly and by the time the day was over I had rubbed red spots on both feet. I am very disappointed and since I have worn them I can not send them back. I was unable to locate exactly what the cause was so could not take any measures to correct it. I do have a high instep which is why I can never wear the reg Dansko's, and that may be the cause for this as well.
