Bought these for my son to replace a pair he outgrew. He likes them and says they are very comfortable.
He likes the fact that he can zip off the pantlegs and have shorts if it gets warm.
They fit well and are a nice colour.

These pants are okay for ordinary walking/hiking but not when going up hill. Since the cargo pockets are not pleated with extra material they get really tight on your legs if you have much of anything in the pockets. You can't really put much in the regular pockets without them getting tight on your legs and effecting going up hills/slopes. I wouldn't buy them again. Next time I will be sure to look for pants with the extra pleated cargo pockets.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE these pants.

I packed them to save space and weight on my recent National Parks tour in the Southwest, and their versatility was just what I needed. When it was cold in the morning in the higher altitudes, I wore the legs. As the day wore on, I switched to shorts and threw the legs in my pack (a nice feature being that the ankle velcro-zipper combination made it possible to pull the legs off without removing my hiking shoes). Dinner time in the lodge? No problem: Switch from a t-shirt to a polo to "dress up", and zip the legs back on. Never out of place.

The "L" and "R" tabs on the leg zippers was a welcome touch. Plus, they are super light weight. Toss in the seven pockets, and you have a bona fide winner...especially at the ridiculously low STP sale price!

Sizes are a little hard to get use to, my normal 36 waist x 36 inseam on all other pants is 38 waist x 34 inseam on these pants, but finely found my size second try. I like the loose fit for that is what I was going for. They are quick dry and cool when wearing.

These pants are great...good-looking, practical and sun-blocking. Too bad they were too long, because the zipper and velcro at the leg opening make shortening them harder. My tailor is going to disable the zipper, rather than remove and replace it, to save expense.
