Well, ordered two of these backpacks for my two sons. The price was superb, and Lowe Alpine is known for great quality, so what's not to love? These are fabulous packs! My sons will use them for school, and from what I can tell, they seem like they'll be up to the job. The graphics are extremely well done. My older son, who got the green one with the eyeball peering out, laughed and said 'wow, Mom! That is so cool!' He's 12, and will be in 7th next year. I think he'll get lots of comments on his backpack. My other son is 6, going into kindergarten, and he has the blue alien hand one. He loves it! Other than looks, the construction is good, and there's room for pens/pencils in a separate section of the pack. Padding on the back & straps also. I like them. Love STP!

Although this backpack is marketed to kids, it suits my need for a daypack. Lowe Alpine is a respected brand, and this item is exactly the size I was looking for.

I bought this pack primarily to haul my stuff back and forth to work. Even as a senior citizen, I have a sense of humor! It's nice quality for the money, and has a ton of room. It does not have a laptop sleeve, but neither did my last bag. I put my 15" laptop in a neoprene sleeve, add a 1" binder, a 1/2" binder, a 6-1/2 x8" notebook, glasses, pens, misc other small items, and have a ton of room left over. It does not have a chest strap, so it would not be comfortable for me to wear long distances, but it's great for its intended purpose.
