The jacket is thinner than expected but has a stylish look and the material seems to be of good quality. The material the jacket is made of has an almost "corded" effect (exterior) which adds some degree of versitility (casual vs. dress). Don't know how well it washes in a machine yet but the material seems durable. It's worth noting that these jackets do seem to run slightly small (emphasis on slightly) as I ordered an XL which usually fits and, along with a loss of 25pds, I was surprised to find that the jacket fit as closely as it did. Shoulders and arms are well-constructed with good freedom of movement, sleeves seem to taper slightly towards forearms and wrists but have plenty of room for movement. Overall, very pleased.

Answer This is actually a knit jacket with a fleece backing on the inside. It is not a true fleece so it would not have level like 100 or 200. It would be a good housecoat layer, and outdoor.
