i bought this jacket primarily to beat up in the shop and for cold-weather tasks that involve the potential for damaging what i would be wearing. It is perfect, i believe, for this usage, because it is rugged and warm, and deflects little snares and tears which would otherwise destroy fleece or other soft fabrics. my only issue, and this is my fault, is the size. i chose xl, which i normally wear in jackets. this xl is truly xl, so i would suggest trying one on at a local store before ordering. like i said, i erred in failing to do this.. otherwise, like my carhartt bibs, i am entirely pleased with the quality.

Ordered the moss green sandstone arctic jacket. Nice color. Loose fit.
Sleeves longer than expected. Ordered XL Tall
2nds hardly noticed. Over stitched a pocket. No big deal.
Sierra saved me money on this one.
Ground shipped- ordered Thursday- received Monday.
Look forward to doing business again with Sierra.
Also- very nice people ordering over the phone.
They say all orders are returnable.
I had reservations about 2nds.

This is a replacement of the same jacket that has gotten a little frayed on the ends, but is still holding up well. The new jacket ordered seems a little short in the length by about 2 inches. Perhaps that is why it is a "second". I decided to live with it because the price was so much lower than anything else I could find on the net.
