If you must bring ourdoor patio furniture indoors during night time hours, this is the best because it's luxury seating and portable to move in and out.

Well made & comfortable, a nice reprieve from those bag sagging camp chairs. Now to keep everyone out of it , while I've gone for another cold one.
note: as others have said, it does take up more storage in the car.

The ALPS rocker is one very well built and comfortable chair. It folds and unfolds easily and needs no cumbersome storage bag. The rocking motion is pleasant, though there is a bit of an abrupt stop if you are "speed rocking." The only note I would make is that you should look carefully at the dimensions of the chair, especially when folded. It is a great deal longer than most folding type chairs. No big deal if you only plan to use on your porch, but a bigger concern if you have limited space for storage.

Heavy duty camp rocker. Folds up nicely, is a little heavy. But, for care camping no problem.

Despite all the glowing reviews, I had to return this chair.
It is a very nice chair: well built, well padded, nice high back (you can put a pillow behind your head and sleep).
I am very picky about ergonomics: ideally, a chair allows some room for my butt, and then curves in to support my lower back.
This chair doesn't really do any of that: it's not as bad as a 'sling' chair, where you're forced to sit on a piece of material that stretches diagonally between the bottom and back of the chair, but it's not great either.
The main problem is the height: I'm 6' tall, and there is constant pressure on the underside of my thighs: this chair needs to be a good 3" lower in front I would think.
Also, when rocking forward, it stops at 90 degrees, which isn't terrible, but I would like to go further forward I think.
