I am entirely comfortable wearing only these and my "Marker" snow pants in 3 degrees F and 30 degrees F while skiing, ice climbing, or standing around during Winter Carnival. They fit great under all types of clothing and they have taken over for my hot chili's which are too warm. I believe the wool does a better job than synthetics of regulating temperature no matter what the exterior temp is and it provides that same regulation regardless of perspiration. I would be sweating in lower quality long johns during class and ski patrol if it weren't for the redrams.
