This weather station works very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of % is that it uses a serial port to connect to the computer.

the unit has many functions and works well. the instruction book is scant at best and fiddling around on the screen provides many more options than shown in the manual. It seems accurate in general. the computer cord is an old style connection which will not connect to my mac.

Directions are very confusing and assume you know what the writer was thinking. I had to end up calling the manufacturer just to set the time.

Greatproduct but display is very poor. LCD cannot be seen straight on. You have to look at it from an angle or it is barely visavle. Uses old, obsolete serial cable to connect to computer. You need an adapter and it does not work well with computers that were built in the last 5 years.

Asked on 10/14/2011 12:00:00 AM by Brandy from Wellington, New Zealand
    • Answer The Atomic Time feature will not work, it will keep time it just will not be able to update using the Radio-Controlled Time signal,WWVB since it is a US based siganal with a range of only 2000 miles. The other features I suspect would work fine. For more info this link may help.|https://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/home.php
