This coir mat has a unique design and is well-made. I have it on my back porch to wipe off shoes before coming into the house. It would be best to use it in a covered area rather than being directly exposed to rain as it will retain water.

I purchased this mat at a fantastic price - cheaper than I could have gotten it in any brick and mortar store. The mat is just a little more than 1/2" tall with no rubber backing. Someday when this mat is ready to be retired I am pleased to know that I can throw it in my compost pile and it won't end up in landfill.

I am using this rug for my son's winter snowy boots...now his snowboard boots are sitting on the run next to the radiator. The mat absorbs the water and the radiator dries up the boots and the water.
There is a slight fiber shedding.
The color is nice and creates a natural aura..
