Though it is very soft, it is a rod with the power.
The green of the finish is clean, too.

    Great rod for spey use, I combined it with a sage reel with 200 yrd of backing, shooting line and a 20 ft 525 floating skagit line......sweeet flod spey rod. I used it on the pm this weekend and it over perfomed. I can fun a float set up for 100's of feet and set the hook that distance with no problems!!

    wow, using 34' shoting scadi line , just watching it sail 80' across a large river a thrill on it's own this pole is true to form , nice color,well made. It's sure a lot of fun to use and when you get a big steelie on, even better yet this pole handles very well.
