After casting the CPX and other mid-priced rods, I settled on the Uniqua. Subtle enough for trout in streams, snappy enough for belly-boat long casts, and burly enough for the silver salmon run.

Buy quality and you only need to make the purchase one time.Fished Big Horn 2 days with the rod third day the new Zenith liked the Zenith best however Uniqua delivers superior performance to most rods I have. Very good value. Don't loan it out you will never see it again!

Great steelhead rod! Longer length gives these rods a good, medium-fast action great for roll casting. Very light but with enough backbone for distance overhand casting without wearing your arm to a frazzle. Will handle bigger flies but really shines with strike indicator and weighted flies. First rate cork grip, top-quality guides, life-time Hardy warranty. Nothing not to like, and incredible Sierra Trading Post pricing!
