I got one package to try. The price was good and it seemed to be a good deal. I tried it as my Friday night meal because of my late arrival at my camp site. The first thing you should know: It requires you to use your own cookware and mess kit. I did everything in my insulated pack cup. The stew was better than average for a dehydrated prepackaged meal. Everything rehydrated acceptably, but it did take about 2 minutes longer than the instructions stated. The pudding required lots of mixing and was still a little lumpy, but the flavor is good. I saved the corn to add to a package of Top Ramen noodles that I had for lunch. I started rehydrating them with hot water about 20 minutes before adding the noodles and beef jerky to the soup. Yes, I would buy this product again. For a quick meal it works well. As an added note, I rarely rate a dehydrated meal above 3 stars. They are just not that tasty and most have way too much salt.

Thought I'd give them a try at this price & the reviews, but that was a mistake. For something you may need to make in an emergency or camping it was too much work. You will need a measuring cup to get the water amount right, but it doesn't really matter. The "Beef Stew" as in some other reviews is really potato & pea soup. It was disgusting, my dog would not even eat it. The corn was better without hydration right out of the bag, but still had no taste. The pudding says stir until smooth which I was unable to attain, it would never completely dissolve & stayed grainy. Then you are suppose to refrigerate the pudding for 5 minutes, unfortunately I rarely take a fridge with me when I go camping or need to bug out in a crisis. I give it 1 star only because I could not choose no stars.

this was a sample buy just to check it out, the package can pack small, the stew did not have hardly any beef , mostly potatos. the corn was good dry, or added to stew to add some color and more vegis. the pudding was the best thing in the pack. as long as it is cold enough to solidify properly and well mixed. best for emergencies, ultralite backpacking. mixing outdoors with bare pots and pans can be a challenge. but the pudding ! made it worth it.
