However, the medium was voluminous and the sleeves far too long, a surprise as earlier WOOLRICH washable wool mediums have been dead on. Reordered in Small, and the shoulders and arms were great, but the torso simply too taut. No kewpie.

Reviewed by serge88 from New Jersey on Wednesday, March 06, 2013This is a quality wool shirt about midway in thickness between a Pendleton field shirt and Woolrich's Buffalo check shirt., with a more soft flannel knap than the latter.. Saying that , over a set of mid-weight polypro this shirt could keep you warm in some cool weather without resorting to a jacket. Indoors you might get hot playing pingpong however. The quality of the fabric is outstanding. Sizing leans to the generous in this model in the sense that it was probably meant for someone weilding an axe rather than a martini glass- no problem here. I bought two.

But the colours also allow me to wear the shirt in the office. The wool breathes well and I don't overheat.|As for sizing, I am 5 ft 11', about 230 pounds and wear 35' sleeves and a size L does fit perfectly.

Question “I just purchased a Pendleton plaid shirt and was very disappointed to find that for the price paid that the plaids were not matched on the side seams. Are your plaid shirts stitched so the plaids are matched? I will consider returning the other shirt and purchasing one of these if this detail has been attended to.”

Answer Sorry the plaids are not matched on the sides on this brand also. I checked 4 other brands that we have in stock and was not able to find any that the plaids were matched at the sides.
