I love mountain hardwear products to begin with due to their durability and comfort so when I saw this jacket for such a great deal there was no hesitation. It's heavier than just a shell rain jacket but it is light enough to wear during summer rainstorms. The inside is lined with a light fleece whi... Read More

i had just received this rain jacket when I took a walking trip along the coast of England. It rained most of every day and I stayed dry the entire time. I was impressed with the lack of leaking through. It never seemed saturated. The pit zips are a great addition since they allow some ventilation while you are exerting yourself. The hood fits nicely over a ball cap. The fit is just right over medium weight fleece so you don't feel like the pills bury doughboy. I have had other waterproof jacks but they did not stay as dry under similar conditions. I recommend this jacket.

This jacket fits true to size and is very flattering for a woman's physique. It is very comfortable and is great for hiking as well as casual about town uses. I love Mt. Hardware in general and my high expectations were not disappointed with this jacket.

Great quality, the blue looks great if it fits your skin tone. Also its well tailored for slim fit so makes the person very sexy but practical.

    • Answer According to the product overview above: Zip chest and hand pockets with brushed mesh lining
Answered on 3/4/2015 11:07:58 AM by Product Specialist Greg from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer It has two hand pockets (with zippers, not too sharp) and one exterior chest pocket. The chest pocket is large enough for a checkbook or a large cell phone or perhaps sunglasses. There are no other pockets.

    • Answer The jacket has only the two exterior pockets. My wife just leaves the jacket in her car strictly for emergencies.

  • Question “Does this jacket have a two-way zipper?”

Asked on 2/22/2015 11:43:19 PM by Jacqueline from Juneau, AK
    • Answer Unfortunately, no. It's broad enough at the hips that it moves around okay, though.

    • Answer No, it is a one way zipper.
Answered on 2/23/2015 9:56:26 PM by Julie from California
    • Answer No, it is just a standard "one-way." If you don't let the zipper be the make or break deal, I can just say my wife loves the jacket. She just leaves it in her car, and if some weather pops up, she's good to go.
Answered on 2/25/2015 1:45:00 PM by Cowboy Bob from Boulder
    • Answer No, not the main zipper. It has arm pit zips with 2 ways to zip/unzip them but that's it .
