Great jacket, really warm. I use it as a commuter coat and it withstands the elements really well. I'm 6'0, 175 lbs with an athletic build and the jacket fits well and isn't too bunchy or loose.

Have not had a down coat in many years but after last winter decided it was time. Have already had some chances to use it this fall with the big freeze. I wear XXL and the fit is excellent throughout unlike many others. The zippers work great and the coat has many nice features including the insulated hood. Very pleased with this purchase and I think you will be too.

This is a great jacket by MH. It's pockets are fantastically warm and encompasses your fingers in soft fleece surrounded by clouds of downy clusters. The hood is insulated, which is great for when the windchill is in the single digits. I use this jacket on my bike commute in Philadelphia, and it works well.
The fit is fluffy, but not overly so. The neck does zip up tight, so it is difficult to get a full zip with a hoody. Most of the time though you won't need a midlayer. The outside does collect lint easily and I'm skeptical of it's waterproofing in full rain or sleet. But then again, if it's over 38*, you probably don't want this jacket on anyway.

Bought this for my twenty year old son and he loves it! He likes that it is stylish and yet outdoorsy looking and the hood detaches. He uses it for the mountains and around town. It is well made and high quality and super warm. It's not really a jacket you'd use backpacking since its a little heavy, but a great outdoor and city jacket. We go to Green Bay to see the Packers in the coldest winter games and this will definately keep him warm. Can't go wrong with it at the sale price.

So I got this jacket because last year's parka was worn out. It's summer now, so I thought this would be a great time to bargain shop. The jacket seems well made and I like that all the seams are taped. Down really sucks when wet... That said, I can't say how it will handle the Chicago cold, yet. That'll happen all too soon.
