I've been looking for gloves that were warmer than the single layer fleece you see out there, but still light and soft and these fit the bill. The wool blend provides a good weather barrier and the fleece lining is super soft and cozy. I originally ordered a medium which fit nicely in the hand width, but the fingers felt tight at the tips (they are long, just tight). I was afraid this would cut off the circulation enough to prevent my hands from staying warm, so I moved up to a large. The large is much, much better, although now the width is a touch big. No matter though, I have a hard time finding gloves that fit right due to my skinny hands and long fingers. My friend who has average length fingers found the medium to fit perfectly and she loved the gloves so much, she gladly took my first pair :).

I suppose that they really are liners, and not really meant for prolongued outings in the wintertime. I wore them cross-country skiing in 30F weather and my hands were pretty dang cold in the first 10 minutes. Good for driving, or walking.

Great dexterity for the thickness of the gloves. They are plenty warm by themselves or you can wear them under mitts for super warm hands during outdoor activities.
