I wear these everyday for work. Can't think of anything that performs better than Smart Wool. And with the price ST sells these for, it's a slam dunk!

I bought these with my new hiking boots and am glad I did. They have all the extra cushion you would expect from a hiking sock without all the height giving you another tan line. These will be my go to warm weather hiking socks.

Can't go wrong with SmartWool! Great on the feet, keeps 'em cool in summer and warm in winter. Washes well, retains size & color. Great buy and will buy again.

I wanted a wool sock to use when cycling in cooler weather. They are comfortable and fit true to size. I would buy these again.

excellent quality and good value at Sierra Trading Post - I bought some for me, for my two sons and for my daughter-in-law ! great for hiking and for keeping warm in the cold NH winters

SmartWool socks are just great socks. My whole family loves SmartWool. They are pricier than dept store socks, but so much more comfortable and long-lasting. And with great prices at Sierra Trading, we can afford to have several pairs. These are well made and have nice cushioning - will be great for hiking.

  • Question “If you are a size 12 shoe, should you get the XL or the L in Smartwool socks?”
Asked on 4/9/2014 3:33:41 PM by Jeff from CO
    • Answer hi jeff - my suggestion for these is a L. my husband is an 11.5 and wears a L. the only reason he wears an XL in some of the smartwool socks is so they are not so tight around his calves. for a low-rise sock like this, that won't matter. my son is a 13.5 and definitely needs an XL. hope that helps and these work for you!
