I wear these everyday for work. Can't think of anything that performs better than Smart Wool. And with the price ST sells these for, it's a slam dunk!

SmartWool socks are just great socks. My whole family loves SmartWool. They are pricier than dept store socks, but so much more comfortable and long-lasting. And with great prices at Sierra Trading, we can afford to have several pairs. These are well made and have nice cushioning - will be great for hiking.

SmartWool hasn't disappointed me with their products yet and this sock is no exception. A bit thick for an Ultralight sock but I believe that is because of the extra cushioning for hiking.

Been addicted to Smartwool for a long time. Fits great, lasts long, and cradles my feet like a baby. You cannot tell the difference between 2nds and perfect product unless you are one of the nitpicking Smartwool QA people (love them!). Give me all your 2nds.

Smart wool socks never disappoint. The merino wool quality is excellent; the socks are long lasting and hold up well use after use.

And the discounts offered through STP make purchasing these fine socks, more affortable.

  • Question “If you are a size 12 shoe, should you get the XL or the L in Smartwool socks?”
Asked on 4/9/2014 3:33:41 PM by Jeff from CO
    • Answer hi jeff - my suggestion for these is a L. my husband is an 11.5 and wears a L. the only reason he wears an XL in some of the smartwool socks is so they are not so tight around his calves. for a low-rise sock like this, that won't matter. my son is a 13.5 and definitely needs an XL. hope that helps and these work for you!
