I have a leather zero gravity chair, which is long like a lounge chair. The leather is nice, but cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I had been putting towels on it in an attempt to make it more comfortable until I saw this beautiful rug. I ordered steel and it's a beautiful medium grey color ...

I have wood floors in my bedroom. Carpeting would be warmer in winter, but dog hair would require constant vacuuming. This soft warm rug is more like a runner, allowing me to walk about the room without getting my feet cold.

Whether you sit or stand on it, you'll feel like royalty. Mine is in my bathroom and I love the barefoot comfort and luxury!! It feels WONDERFUL!! I dry off before stepping out of the tub or shower, but a drop of water here and there won't hurt it... after all, sheep stand around in the rain. But, this thing is washable as well. I'm ordering another one...maybe 2.

I purchased two of these, one for either side of our bed. We just removed the wall-to-wall carpet in our bedroom & laid wood floor. We wanted something soft & warm for stepping out of bed. These are the perfect size and do not slde around (even without a pad undermeath). They match each other well (I was concerned they may not). Can't beat the price & they are so soft. The linen color is quite natural with varying shades. I like it and was afraid they would be too stark white (they are not).

These are lovely pieces, but a bit thinner than I expected. These are white, soft and clean and probably worth the price. We are using these runners on each side fo the bed and they feel really great underfoot. I ordered double pelts last year in different dye that were thicker and larger.
Possibly a decorative rug. Maybe to lay on and play a game or watch t.v.
The fibers are too long, I believe, to function as an everyday rug.
A non slip pad may help. I have mine on a leather sofa and it does move around a lot.
I got the Ivory-o4 and it is natural...gets a bit creamier in tone as one uses it. It is very silky and beautiful.
There are brown , black , tan sheep and it is possible they all might be natural...if the hide is a natural color I think that means the pelt is not dyed.
The following is from the Auskin web site. http://www.auskin.co.nz/care.asp|Small stains and light soiling can be spot cleaned with damp cloth and mild detergent. For more thorough cleaning dry cleaning is recommended for best results. Auskin natural sheepskins may be hand or machine washed in warm water (40C/104F) using a mild liquid detergent and a gentle washing cycle.
