The fleece lining inside will be a BONUS...that's actually the main reason I bought the beanie. The only downside is the shape. It's not a snug fit on your head. It stands up pretty tall (if that makes sense) once you put it on...not very slouchy like other hats, probably because the fleece lining keeps it straight up...so for looks, it's okay. BUT when you're out on the mountains, you want to stay warm and protected.
