Very unique design - love the bold plaid print on warm fabric. They also have a very supportive base which is comfortable for walking on hard pavement. They are a little boxy, but still super cute. The backs were a bit stiff upon first wear, but they break in and soften up by bending and wearing....

Snow sneakers! I had to have them since I live in sneakers when its not snowing. Problem is I live in MN and there is snow on the ground and its cold about 6 months a year. These are obviously Sorel out of the box. The sole and bottom are rugged but light weight and the tread is like a winter boot. The upper is not fleece. There is no fleece-not sure why it's described that way. It is a thick and strong felt like the liners inside Sorel boots but more durable. Oddly, these are actually warm. Warmer than a sneaker anyway. I wont wear these when it's -30 or with lots of new snow fall but when the sidewalks are clear these will easily trudge through. They are a nice alternative to my ugg mini's that I usually wear casually when the streets are clean. They are comfortable too. Seems like there is moderate support-a little stiff which I like. I did add my Dr. Scholl's hidden arch supports because my feet are flat and without that I hurt. The purple color is not for the fait of heart. These are bright and you notice them for sure. I would have liked a more discrete color option but I'm having fun with this bright color combo. I got my regular shoe size and they are a perfect fit with room for a medium thick winter sock.

I am always on the lookout for shoes that are not only funky but more importantly comfortable and these shoes fit the bill. I wore these shoes out for the first time yesterday in very cold weather and my feet were warm! which doesn't happen often. These are definitely a keeper.

These shoes are absurdly cute. And v e r y well-made, just like any other Sorels. When I first saw them online, I thought they were house slippers. They just look like oversized, fluffy slippers. But they are sneakers. I can't emphasize enough how well they are put together. And the colors are as vivid as they appear online. The purple plaid ones have brown leather along each seam, over the toe, and along the bottom. Then, there’s a nice tan nubuck on the front. The soles are a neon greenish yellow and there are two eyes where the laces are that are the same color. The laces themselves are wide, sturdy and are an off-white color, and they look so much better than white would look.
The removable hunk of an insole is... wow. I've never seen anything like it. I've posted a photo. The insole is actually more like a platform shoe. The heel part is about an inch thick. And the ball of the foot is just over a half inch.
One thing though... they are not fleece-lined like the description says - it looks and feels more like (gray) boiled wool except it isn't scratchy. The tag says the lining is 100% polyester.
My shoe size is all over the map, depending on the style of shoe and who makes it. Mostly though, I wear a 7 in flat or platform summer sandals. And then a 7.5 in regular shoes and pumps. For 'tennis shoes' and hiking shoes/boots I get an 8 or 8.5. The biggest size they had in these was a 7 so I took a gamble. And they fit! I probably could have worn a 7.5 as well.

These shoes fit snugly and feel stable, but for some reason I keep rolling my ankles in them. Maybe their springiness makes me overconfident in how much bounce should be in my walk. The lining seems more like felt/ boiled wool to me.
