Although I have yet to use them on he African Safari for which I bought these, they are certainly the right size and weight. I wanted them small and lightweight so I could carry them with ease, which they certainly are. Still I wanted good quality so I could get a real good look at the animals, especially in low light conditions. These seem to be just that!

Power in a little package. I can easily keep it with me at ALL times while visiting Zimbabwe. I will be working on a lion preservation and rehabilitation project. I will be in the midst of wildlife and always want to be prepared to see its wonders as close up as possible.

I have a pair of Steiner marine 7x50 that I have used sailing and kayaking for more than 20 years, so these were a logical choice for a more compact pair for camping and hiking. they are as good as I expected.
