    Well made, clear and quality optics and mechanics. A little heavier as a result of protective case but worth it.

    Very clear, sharp image. Handles well. Rugged. However, the images appear "flat" - the modelling of objects lacks a "roundness", a sense of 3D mass. And the focusing of the single eye is stiff. ( But the focus holds up in the field ). At the price, this a good value.

    These are well built binoculars that work well. The eyecups help block out side light. Nice compact size. My only complaint is that the case that they come with is cheesy and I had it on my belt and it ripped. My brother bought a 10x26 compact Nikons which were less expensive but no where near the quality. I did a lot of research and these by far are the best high quality high value compact binoculars.
