These high quality scissors and paring knife are a must in the kitchen. But I must warn you.This lightweight little knife is seriously sharp. In the 1st week we used it,both my wife and I(we are both avid cooks)incurred pretty deep cuts to the fingers.And I was just using it to slice small tomatoes....

Both the scissors and paring knife are über-sharp. The quality seem to be high, both say "made in germany." And it's great that the scissors come apart for cleaning. The paring knife is on the long side (most would be an inch shorter), I think it would be more manageable if it were shorter. And it's so sharp that I'm a little bit afraid of it.

Wustof is known for quality knives. I've had no issues with the performance of the knife or scissors. However, within just a couple of weeks, the scissors have begun to rust. I've followed the directions by hand washing and drying. I don't know if this is being caused from air moisture or just poor QA on my particular set.

I'll give these two a 5 star so far.....Ive only had them for a short time, but so grateful for sharp kitchen tools. Wusthof has such a strong reputation in knives;
I'm not disappointed in their performance in my Kitchen. I selected the color red so that I could find them easily amongst my other implements.
