I returned it and re-ordered it in navy again (for some reason the exchange process didn't work), since the style and color of the vest are exactly what I'd been looking for. What are the chances I'd get a defective replacement, right? Wrong. The next one came with a hole in the ribbing on the armhole. While I couldn't fix the last one myself, I might be able to fix this one, so I might keep it. Or not. It's not a good value for the money. It would have to be a steal to make it worth the risk of receiving a defective product.

The fabric is not as substantial or as soft as I thought alpaca should be. When I started to put it on for the first time, I noticed a little hole at the edge of the back collar. It would get bigger if I tried wearing the vest, so unfortunately, I had to send it back.

The quality is ok but the lapel of the button is opened on the right not on left for a woman's top. At $79.95, I expected this product to be manufacturer properly for a woman. I'm unable to send it back b/c I can't find a brown Woman's sweater vest anywhere. I would not recommend b/c the quality control standards are not good.
