Even though this has some acrylic in it it feels like 100% alpaca. I bought the denim which I thought would be a lighter blue but turned out to be a very dark navy. The material for this cape was really soft & warm BUT it looked like it was dragged through some heavy rollers. It looked like it was going to be a great deal but in the long run I paid too much!

I plan to use this over dresses/skirts in our cold winters. It looks great, is very warm, and big enough to wrap around a friend if necessary.

My main concern with this cape was whether it would look a bit "old" for me. I'm 40. But I've gotten lots of compliments on it & paired with jeans & leather boots I think it looks hot. Totally depends on what you wear it with.
Super comfy. I dont even take it off when i come in the door. The kids at my sons school love to touch it. That means Soft!

Only con is there is so much of it that sometimes I catch it on stuff. I'm also 5'8" so one of my shorter friends pointed out that it would not look flattering on her
