My husband and I used these bags for an "indoor camping" trip afer hurricane Sandy. We slept so well! They are super light, warm (but not too hot) and wide enough to turn over with out feeling like you have to flip the whole sleeping bag.

I have had this bag down to mid 30s without even closing the top and had to open the bottom zipper just a bit. Comes with its own store bag and compression sack. Compression sack seems a little cheap but it has been holding up so probably shouldn't complain. Zippers hang a bit, but show me a sleeping bag they don't. All in all a very solid bag that serves its purpose well

Nice overall for my needs . Plenty warm, fits in my Gregory baltoro 75 compartment and not being an ultralight fanatic no problems with the weight of this bag. Speedy delivery from STP as usual.

  • Question “What are the care instructions for this sleeping bag?”

Asked on 8/6/2013 9:25:24 AM by sevansi from Virginia
    • Answer DO NOT DRY CLEAN:

LAUNDERING: Wash in cold eater with technical gear wash or mild soap. Typical detergents should not be used, as they will break down material and decrease product performance. Wash by hand, or in a front loading washer, gentle cycle.
DO NOT use a top lading washing machine.
DO NOT use bleach. Ensure bag is fully rinsed. DO NOT wrinkle or twist. Take care not to stretch or pull when wet. Water weight can strain seam: careful handling when wet is required to prevent damage.
DRYING: Air dry, line dry or us a large commercial dryer on low heat. Fluff with hands periodically while drying. Always dry completely before storing.

  • Question “what does "fill power" mean?”

Asked on 2/5/2013 12:00:00 AM by Paul from United States
    • Answer Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. The higher the fill power the more trapped air an ounce of the down can trap, and thus the more insulating ability an ounce of the down will have.
