These are not the lightest of AT boot options, but they fit and ski great. They seem a little more roomy in the toe box area than other dynafit boots I tried. I don't have wide feet, but they are not narrow either. I'm a very recent convert from a tele set up, which, up until now has remained my preference for a few reasons, including foot comfort. Previous attempts at diving into an alpine/AT set up have left my feet feeling blistered and abused. These boots have done neither! My feet are warm, comfortable, and blister free after days of touring as well as a few days of lift skiing.

I wanted to buy these since they are the lightest boot on the market; however, I could not get the sizing to work out. The design is very narrow especially in the toe area. I went up a full size and they were still too small. Also, I found the top buckles hard to manage. At the end of the day, I had to return simply because I have a wide foot and don't think they would ever be comfortable.

    • Describe Yourself: Intermediate
    • Pros: Highly Adjustable, Lightweight
    • Sizing: Feels full size too small
    • Was this a gift?: No
    • Width: Feels too narrow

  • Question “Hi, I am looking for Dynafit compatible boots. I like the description of this boot due to the lightness and availability of small sizes. I have currently Scarpa Gea in 23.5 which is loose around the heel and lower calf and I get a lot of heel lift which makes it hard to control the boot. Ive tried Geas in 23 and 22.5 (which have the same shell size) 23 felt fairly good (still heel lift) 22.5 felt a bit narrow. Lenghtwise ok defo not too small. My feet are 225-230mm and 230-235mm depending on time of the day. Geas seem to be the smallest boots where I live but since I get heel lift even in the smallest sizes I think they are wrong shape for me. So I am now looking at other brands and wondering how the sizing and width especially around the heel compare to Scarpas so I can make up my mind which boots to buy. Are Dynafit (especially this model) fitting/length/volume similar to Scarpas? Any help/experience would be much appreciated. Thanks =)”

    • Answer I also have narrow/low volume heels. My experience is that Dynafit boots have narrower heels. I have skied Scarpa Magics and Dynafit TLTs in size 25 and find that my heel fits MUCH better in the Dynafits. Scarpas just do not seem to fit my feet. I always get heel lifting in Scarpas, even after molding the liners.
