Comforters are too warm, other blankets are too thin; this is a good in-between. It's thicker and heavier than other velour/"supersoft" style blankets and the 50% acrylic makes it sufficiently warm at a slight cost of (some) breathability. Three washes so far and the material has pilled somewhat, but it isn't shedding in the slightest and the aesthetic decline hasn't affected the function. Just make sure to follow the wash instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Overall, this is my favorite of all the "supersoft" variety blankets that I've tried. Will probably buy it again for a family member.

The "burnt orange" color is even prettier than [...] looked online! It is softer than I thought it would be and doesn't slide on the sheets as other blankets have done. The sizing is very generous as stated in the description. Though I have not yet washed it, I'm certain that I won't be disappointed with this product!
