He's been wearing them a lot and he even gave me credit for finding something stylish. We both were impressed with their construction and how lightweight they are. The fit is perfect for stomping around and the price was also fantastic!

Upon looking at them it was because the sole and heel were just one molded piece of plastic (the kind that even has fake molded stitching) and only the top portion was actual leather. The rest of the boot was synthetic leather. I've owned a pair of shoes like this before and I've found that the synthetic leather cracks once the boots start to break in. These would be good to use in place of galloshes, but not as an everyday reliable boot.

Thankfully it's perfect for what I want. The. Tongue of the boot is attached so that even if water does splash on it I will be dry.
