This was a gift for a friend. They are high quality, cute and warm. She loves them so much she wore them out to the mall! Crazy! She's a size 9.5 and I believe I got an XL and they fit perfectly.

Warm, well made, non-slip soles and comfortable. These will last for a long time. The first pair I bought was so nice I came back to buy a pair for my mother. I was very annoyed to find out that the price had dropped. Had I waited a while longer to make my first purchase I would have saved myself $18.00. That is one thing about STP that really bugs me, prices jump around all the time and you never really know if you got a good deal. There is no way to know when something is going to go on sale. If you keep an eye on something you'd like to buy sometimes you can get a great deal with a sale, a coupon, a special offer or such, but then when you do make a purchase and the price on that item drops a lot right after you do buy it, well, that isn't so happy making.

these are really nice slippers!! FAST shipping, good clearance price, nice chestnut leather upper and wool lining! beware of sizing... I wear an 8 therefore ordered a large which is perfect, if your foot is any bigger i'd recommend an XL. a size 9 foot would be to big for this large size slipper, as my size 8 foot fit perfect. they will be perfect for our Central Oregon cold weather. they can be worn outside too, the sole is thick and "flexible" unlike similar style slippers. The only disappointment was they don't have the little sheep logo/emblem punched into the leather slipper as shown in the picture. looks like they replaced it with a Lamo fabric label.

Nice sheepskin scuffs at a reasonable price. But, BEWARE of the sizing. I purchased a large (8-9) for my 11 year old daughter who wears a 7.5 narrow womens shoe. The large scuff just fit her....not quite 1/2 inch left at the heel...no wiggle room for socks or growth. I bought the large based on other reviews. I do wish I had gone even larger.

I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, or an 8 in Acorn slippers. I ordered the L, and my heel runs off the back end. The sheepskin is super soft and warm, but these are going back.

I love the thick sheepskin lining of these slippers. Appreciate the indoor/outdoor sole. Pleased with the quality of this item. We love Sierra Trading Post and recommend the site to our active, outdoorsy friends.

    • Answer these are warm with the shearling vs fleece, but no real arch support
Answered on 12/9/2014 4:16:27 PM by susanhu from Pittsburgh, PA
    • Answer Nope. The only arch support you'll get is from where the sheepskin doesn't pack down as much from wear. These do pack out pretty fast - I'm a sz 8 & got the large and they barely stay on my feet.
Answered on 12/9/2014 4:18:30 PM by Rockstarmofo from pdx
    • Answer I have been wearing mine all afternoon and just checked for arch support. I never paid attention to this but they do. My feet have molded into the slippers and the arch is defined. Hope this helps.
Answered on 12/9/2014 4:21:15 PM by Vermonter from Vermont
    • Answer I would not call them something with arch support. They are warm and comfy but don't think any of these types of slippers have an arch support.
Answered on 12/9/2014 5:53:20 PM by love2jewel from WI
    • Answer No. There is no arch support whatsoever. These are scuffs - comfy and cosy but quite unstructured. Not really suitable for wearing all day long.
Answered on 12/9/2014 6:53:38 PM by Mama Nabe from Michigan
    • Answer They don't have arch support. They're really warm and comfy so I wear them while I'm sitting or for short periods around the house. Great for warming up cold feet.
Answered on 12/9/2014 8:21:29 PM by Conflatia from Colorado
    • Answer The only arch support comes from the fleece. The fleece kind of molds to your foot over time. I have high arches and these are fine for me, but I don't wear them all day.

    • Answer This slipper has a flat sole, but, is loaded with sheepskin fleece so the fleece should give you some arch support. They really are very nice.

    • Answer These are warm, cozy, fuzzy slippers with a great sole, but they do not offer any arch support whatsoever. But I still love them!

  • Question “Are these slippers machine washable or spot clean only? Thank you.”
Asked on 10/3/2014 9:52:34 AM by Michelle from NH
    • Answer They should not be machine washed. Spot cleaning with a soft damp cloth is recommended for the sheepskin surface. When the fleece gets dirty, gentle hand washing will work. I think there's a sheepskin wash product. Otherwise you can gently hand wash with shampoo. Air dry and brush as necessary. When mine get to the old worn stage I'll cheat and machine wash gently, but it will shorten the life of the slipper.

    • Answer These are sheepskin on a durable sole. They should be spot cleaned like you would suede. I treated mine with a couple applications of waterproofing spray before I put them on. Now I can wipe mayonnaise off with a dish cloth.

  • Question “What is the fur made out of? Is it fake or is it real?

Asked on 11/30/2013 9:14:11 AM by Queenie the Lover from Cape Cod
    • Answer It is real Genuine Australian sheepskin.
Answered on 11/30/2013 10:55:01 AM by Product Specialist Marv from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer It is real and was incredibly soft and thick! The slipper runs small. The large is much closer to a size 8. The XL was ok in length but was too wide at that size. Had to send them back :(
