I own these shoes and they're my absolute favorites. It's a fantastic cross between a Chaco sandal and a fleece lined boot. I LOVE these shoes and they're my go to shoes for whatever I'm doing. My feet are warm, my arches are well supported and I can walk all day in colder weather and my feet are... Read More

I followed recommendations from other reviewers to go up a 1/2 size but they ended up too big for me. There were none available any longer in my usual size so I was not able to exchange. Would have been nice and comfy with the usual high arch found in Chaco.

I normally wear a 6 to 6 1/2 and purchased a 6 1/2 in black. The shoe is a little narrow at the top of the foot, but fits with a thin sock or no socks. Toe area is roomy. I think a size 7 would be too big/long. Once the elastic loosens up, I may be able to wear a thicker sock. But with the nice shearling lining, a thin sock or no sock is fine for me.

I have average arches and love the arch support.

I walk dogs and have plantar fasciaitis--bad combo -- these shoes are so warm and provide great arch support -- too bad chaco discontinued :( I <3 them.

I ordered these shoes, twice as the recommendations were to order a larger size than accustomed to. I usually wear between a 7 1/2 and 8 and the 8.5 was way too big and the 8 was still too big. I am sending them back and trying the 7.5, keeping my fingers crossed because these are really well made, warm, comfortable shoes.

Update - sizing up a half size is definitely the way to go. Lightweight socks help with the heel slippage.
