Everywhere else, the shorts fit true to size. I bought these in a 14. I am an avid walker, so I didn't expect the legs to be a problem. This was my second experience with the Mountain Khakis brand, and both times I had to return them due to the fit.

I originally ordered a 10 but they were HUGE. I returned them for a 6 and they fit like a glove. My waist is about 28-29, hips around 39-40, the size 6 fits like a glove and doesn't gap at the waist. I've been wearing them around the apartment. I'm self-conscious about my thighs but got the 8" inseam anyway and they look fine. Very flattering on the backside too.

They washed well - no ironing needed. I ordered another pair - the salmon color. I like them as well. I think they are a great buy. I intend to wear them around town - not for hiking the trails.

Question “When I click on the size O, it shows a waist size of 23-24 inches, which is what I want. Then I click on the 10 length and it shows a waist size of 27-28 inches. For a size 0, 10-inch length, what is the waist size? You should fix the website too...the contradicting waist sizes is confusing.”
