These socks are just what I need to keep me running in the rainy/chilly winter here in the Pacific Northwest. They're about the same weight or thickness as the synthetic running socks I like in warm weather, but the wool keeps my feet from being chilly, even if (when) they get wet. Not too thick, either, so my feet won't roast. Love the 2nds price, and can't even figure out what the "defect" was.

Icebreaker makes a great ultralite sock. They are my favorites to wear with my running shoes. They are very comfortable and give the best support.

I was replacing some worn socks and I use these for cycling and cross training workouts. They are pretty comfortable. When I put them on they seemed just a little warmer than what I need in summerish months, but I didn't notice them once I had them on.

Perfect fit. The higher back piece keeps the sock from slipping down into my shoe.
