Reviewed by Allie 64 from Florida on Tuesday, March 12, 2013These Thermasheer curtains are a great option to control heat but allow light to come through. Thermosheers are lightweight and airy. This makes them unique and attractive, especially compared to other heavy insulated drapes. These curtains are machine washable which is a plus. I ordered 4 pairs and a single panel was almost 2 inches too short. Sierra Trading exchanged one pair so now all the panels are the correct length. The urethane backing does make the curtains a little tacky to slide on the rod, but so far do not stick fast. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Question “I want to make these into pull-down blinds on a roller shaft. How sheer is sheer? If they are backed with a UV reflector, maybe that makes them sturdy enough? The width needs to be close to 50" and they can't be too thick, so they seem like a good possibility.”
