Ruffles are not a clown-like and fall nicely. Fabric is rather thin. I have not washed it yet, so I cannot comment on its launderbility. I hope it retains the beauftiful ruffles and the color (I bought a black one).

Reviewed by DeeDee from Queens, New York on Sunday, October 21, 2012I love this top! It can be dressed up for work or worn with jeans for the weekend. It fits true to Lilla P. size charts. The Peacoat is a beautiful cool-toned deep blue gray and the Sunset is a medium melon color with a warmer tone to it. I kept them both, even though as a cool skin-toned brownette, I look better in the Peacoat. I'll probably wear a contrasting cami under the Sunset that compliments my skin tone better, although only a peak of it will show--the cut is low, but not so low that you would absolutely need a cami under it.
