Since I'm curvy, I usually order down one size in this brand if I want the belt to fit at the waist (I want two or three inches of 'extra' belt, max, after buckling--I don't like the look of 6 or 7 extra inches flopping around as in the photo), and I go with my regular size if I want to wear it with low-rise jeans.
