Reviewed by Luke from Northern Utah on Monday, May 06, 2013I finally made the jump from a Coleman feather 400, large fuel bottle, and stainless pots and pans to this, and while I love my little Coleman stove and the 20+years it has given me the upgrade was well worth it. This thing boils water super fast and since I do like to cook in the pots and pans while I am backpacking not just boil water it seemed like the perfect choice. Everything packs down into the pot neatly and still has room for a 230g fuel canister within the pot. Lights every time with the piezo igniter. I have not cooked fish in the pan yet but a short stack of pancakes is light work for this stove. amazing product. Highly recommended.

Answer Yes as long as there is at least a 1/2" gap between the pot and the shield, and the flame is not directed sideways toward the shield.

Answer We were not able to find that information. We do have that it's output is 8900BTU/with a boil time of 2.5 minutes.
