These are Carhartt style # R07 and they are made of 11.75 oz., 100% cotton denim, it features multiple tool and utility pockets, hammer loop and adjustable suspenders. Back pockets are reinforced for durability.

I generally go two inches larger than my waist. You lose some to shrinkage and the side buttons allow you to take up the rest. The reason for this is that it allows you to layer clothing underneath the bib in cold weather. Just leave the side buttons open and you have room underneath for jeans or thermals.

In my opinion yes I purchase them at least 2 sizes above my normal pants size, my preference don't like them fitting tight.
