I received my overalls very quickly. I ordered Carhartt because I know they're built for people who require sturdy work gear. I however, am a women who just wanted a quality pair of overalls like I had when I was a kid in California. I ordered the stonewashed fabric and let me tell you they are wonderful! Strong, sturdy and comfortably soft; I love them! I am 5'2" and the 30" inseam is pretty long so I just rolled em up! ( I like them like this so I won't hem them) I think I've found my new everyday uniform ( with my Chaco sandals) so I have to get MORE! When they arrived the tag read "irregular" but, I swear I can not find a flaw! Only $38.00.......for Carhartt!!!! I am as Phil would say, Happy, Happy, Happy!

Guess I am accustomed to wearing a different brand. These are very sturdy with overly baggy legs. I have set.these aside for work time only.

What can you say. I have worn these overalls in the summer for years. Strong but very light in weight they are perfect for hot summer days. I have continued to wear overalls into retirement for yard work and have even reserved a pair of these soft, lightweight bibs for car travel. The bib pockets work great for cell phone, wallet, and the pens and pencils I always seem to need while traveling and there is no restriction at the waist while sitting for long miles. I have never discovered why these are seconds, there is never an obvious flaw to my eyes.

    • Answer Hi! Farmer's Daughter, these are relaxed. Just enough so they feel they've been washed but without the fading or the puckered seams. PERFECT for the Summer.

    • Answer These are fairly "soft-handed" not stiff like the cotton duck overalls, definitely lightweight enough for summer use.

    • Answer no
Answered on 2/10/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer I generally go two inches larger than my waist. You lose some to shrinkage and the side buttons allow you to take up the rest. The reason for this is that it allows you to layer clothing underneath the bib in cold weather. Just leave the side buttons open and you have room underneath for jeans or thermals.

    • Answer In my opinion yes I purchase them at least 2 sizes above my normal pants size, my preference don't like them fitting tight.
