I have owned a couple of Temple Fork spinning rods for a couple of years and when I saw the bait casting rods at such a good price I had to give them a try. Recently I have been spending a lot of time in SW Florida fishing the flats and Charlotte Harbor and I needed a couple of good stout rods.
This rod was perfect, it is very light weight has a quality build and has the strength to handle Redfish and Trout. Highly recommend it.

I needed a good casting rod but did not want to spend the 100-300 bucks for the best ones. Saw this one and decided to try it. With the extra 30% off this rod was a terrific value. The rod is really light and well made. I liked it so much I ordered a spinning model the next week.. Thanks STP

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but am impressed with looks and feel of the rod. I am sure it will be a good one. Guides are a little larger than the ones on the freshwater rods, but should be OK for my needs.
