I am 5'7" 160lbs and the medium fit me like a champ. It is a great jacket for what I paid. I would never have bought it for full price and when i saw it on sale I couldnt resist. Great Jacket! im loving it!

This is a very functional, handsome down jacket. It isn't a full-blown puffy jacket, the kind that make you look like the Pillsbury dough boy, but rather a substantial but still svelte piece with high quality down. Worn with a light base layer and a light fleece, I'm very comfortable walking my dogs down into the teens. For colder weather, it layers very well with a light insulated jacket (like my Marmot Isotherm jacket!).

I read through the reviews before purchasing this jacket. I was looking for something that would be warmer than I already have, for those really cold days we have in Minnesota. My dog still needs walked, after all. Reviews said this coat was toasty in zero degree F weather with just a t-shirt underneath. Not for me. I wore this jacket in 10 degree F weather, with a corduroy shirt underneath. I was freezing!!! This is not an "expedition-ready jacket" as the description says. It is a nice coat for maybe 20-30 degree weather. I already have one of those. If I knew I was ordering a 20-30 degree coat, I'd have rated this a 5 star, as it is a nice jacket. I'm pretty certain I'm sending this back. STP return policy, with their charging a fee, seems a little unfair in instances like this. I wish they'd have a 30-day free return policy, at least.

This jacket is very lightweight and comfortable with lots of useful pockets and other features.
Outside, in the cold and wind, it is drafty and not warm at all. It would work well with layers,
but I was looking for a down coat that worked on it's own.

This is amazingly light, incredibly warm and allows free movement. I've worn it with basic layers and been warm in 30 minute walks to work in single digits. It is not long, but that does not bother me. The fit is fairly slim, I got a medium and it is a little tight around the middle for me, but otherwise is a great fit. This is a quality jacket that is very well designed.

I'm really glad I got this coat. It's pretty warm. Even while wearing only a normal long sleeve button up under it in 0 F degree weather it kept the wind out and the warmth in. It's also amazingly light weight. The pockets are very deep as well. The arm movement is also very nice, it doesn't seem to bind at all. I'm 5'10 and got a large and it fit very well.
