Reviewed by Travel too much for business from Denver on Thursday, January 17, 2013I wear a suit/sportcoat size 40 and ordered the same in this topcoat (which is the way overcoats are sized). It fits perfectly over my sportcoats. It's a simple design but stylish and quite warm, too. It has three inside pockets and two outside pockets. Really a good deal. No complaints here. Just need to find a good deal on a wool scarf now.

I wear a size 42R in a suit jacket so I ordered this in a 44R thinking that'd give me the option to use it as a topcoat. WAY too big. Exchanged it for a 40R which fits very well when worn over shirts/sweaters but is too small to wear over a suit jacket. So, I would recommend you order the same size as your suit jacket if you want to use it as a topcoat, order a size down if you plan to wear it on its own. Final note to Canadian shoppers: you're on the hook for return shipping and you will get dinged for import duties on the original shipment and the exchange. In my case I would still consider it a good deal but the extra costs rack up fast if you need to do exchanges. That said, the exchange process was very easy, shipping is extremely fast and their customer service people are awesome!

I usually wear a 40R suit jacket, I was hoping to wear this over a suit so I ordered a 42R to size up and when it arrived it was much too big. There would be plenty of room to wear over the suit but not in a fitted fashion like I was looking for. A 40 might work well but I am not a huge fan of the style either, otherwise looks like a good jacket. If you plan on ordering this I would order the same size as you wear in a suit jacket.
