Paddled in San Diego on a sit on top and placed all my electronics inside. As long as you seal it, flip the upper lip and buckle it, nothing will get wet. I would attach a small float if it's not stowed away.

I was looking for a bag for transporting my camera in the kayak. The lake is still frozen:) so haven't used it yet, but it should work. It is a little stiffer than I was expecting and the zipper is quite difficult to connect. But once connected, it holds tight. Will know more in a few months.
