They are easy to inflate, easy to deflate and pack back into stuff sack, and light enough for short backpacking trips. The quality seems sturdy enough to carry them through for quite a while.

The stuff sack and repair kit are nice and it packs down to a reasonable size. Only qualm: it took a few tries to receive one free of leaks, but the STP team was fantastic and very accommodating.

Question “I have used therm-a-rest ProLite pads before and they work great, compared to them how would the Kelty Alpine differ. Also would I be able to fold this in half (left to right) and then roll it up just like a therm-a-rest? thanks for your help”

Answer The Kelty has a removable bottom layer made of Closed Cell foam which gives it a great balance of cold-weather comfort and warm-weather versatility. It can be folded then rolled up also like the Therm-a-rest.
