I could not believe how light this rod was. My kids were home when the package was delivered and thought the shipping box was empty. Just got back from the coast and the rod did its part in landing a couple good sized flounders and some speckled trout.

I was worried about the rod being 6' 6", but it is performing well tossing 1/8 oz. jig heads and Gulp Shrimp and Jerk shads.
I usually us a 7' rod, but this was such a good deal I couldn't resist. I have a Shimano Stradic reel on it and it's occasionally loosening up in the reel seat. I don't know if it is the reel or seat, but I am monitoring the situation.
