We got rained on our whole camping trip and this thing kept us bone dry! I would highly recommend the nik wax waterproof for this tent to prolong the life of it. Great deal! Will use forever, and make great memories.

I bought this tent based on a recommendation from a friend who is very experienced/certified in outdoor gear (his recommendation was based on the closeout price + 35% off coupon). It haven't taken it out yet, but my kids have camped out twice in the livingroom. Set up is easy and intuitive, taking it down and storing it was just as easy. Feels quality. I'm 6'-3" 230 lbs and most of my friends/brother are just as big. Fitting four of us in here would be tight but doable. Can't give it 5 stars because I've only had it for a month and haven't really used it yet, but I would be very surprised if it didn't meet my expectations.

With the addition of another dog, we had to move up from our Big Agnes Seedhouse. We have been loyal BA fans for years but were unable to find an all mesh 4 person. Because the Sierra Trading Post has such fantastic customer service, we decided to try the Odyssey and we simply love it! It so roomy and easy to set up and take down. Love the pockets and two side doors too. We camp all the time and are so happy with our new tent!

Bought this for car camping. Great overall design but the materials were lacking. Floor was made out of a flimsy material and the support poles that ran over each door bent immediately :(. On the upside, it has tons of space, keeps the rain out and there are lots of handy pockets! I ended up returning it because I didn't think it would last. I've had a Sierra Designs tent for years and I think I'm going to stick with them.

This is a well-built, fairly spacious tent. It is fairly easy to set up, but a little fussy. You get used to it fast. It's easiest when you have lots of space. I wish it had clips instead of sleeves connecting the tent to the poles. Note that the vestibule is smaller on one side. Because of the mesh walls the ventilation is good, but it can be hard to get in when it's raining without letting any water in. If you use this in a wind storm, you'll get a fair amount of dust inside. But it seems to stay dry (haven't had a real deluge yet). It's light and compact, has good doors, and is very comfy inside.

While I have not used this tent yet, initial impressions are excellent. It is a larger tent when rolled up (I am used to smaller, lighter two person tents) but for a comfortable four person tent it is still manageable even on short hikes, plus it is very light for such a large tent. Marmot quality is always good and I expect this to be no different. I will update my review after some use!

The Marmot Halo 4p has the same floor dimensions so it should work.
