We got rained on our whole camping trip and this thing kept us bone dry! I would highly recommend the nik wax waterproof for this tent to prolong the life of it. Great deal! Will use forever, and make great memories.

My wife and I just completed a cross country trip and I wish I would have brought my other tent. This tent let all the wind in and we had to use two bedsheets on the front and back to keep the wind out. No good attachments for gear loft and the side compartments were too loose and unsteady to hold a water bottle. I am going back to my Eureka Mountain Pass XTE.

I received this tent yesterday and set it up in the living room. Obviously I have not used this in the outdoors yet but It seemed to be made of great material. It is not the lightest tent but it does have the most room of most of the 4 person tents out there. You cant see it in the pic but above the doors are two large pockets and each side has two additional pockets. The poles are rather long so setting this up in the backcountry may take some magic. I am about 6 foot and have a about a foot of room. Good product!

From what I understand this tent has not been made in many years - one source I found said 2004. Because of that I couldn't find any information on it online. Even so I decided to give it a shot and order. I am so happy I did! I have not used it yet (it only arrived last week), but I did set it up in my back yard. Quality is excellent! It is a very large size - 8' X 8'. The fly is full coverage with two vestibules covering the two tent doors. The four poles are nice quality aluminum.

The tent looks like a great car camping tent. The construction is what I would expect from Marmot. It is made in China, but what isn't these days. A comment I read prior to purchasing suggested that the tent was not made by Marmot and was not backed by Sierra Trading Post, which seems like a dubious post to me. I gave it 4 stars because we haven't yet spent a night in it.

Good design, easy setup, and lots of room. Large doors, lots of storage space and pockets. Very good tent for car camping, etc. at a great price.
