There was no breaking-in needed and my feet felt wonderful afterwards. I also wear them to the gym and enjoy them there too. I hope they last me a long, long time.

No chafing and no break in. Comfortable from the first run. Impact absorption issue is only for cement and pavement. I use a different shoe for that type of running. I would buy these as my only trail shoe. Have now put over a hundred muddy, snowy, icy miles on them, and they still look brand new! High quality materials and excellent construction.

I do a lot of hiking and exercise walking along trails and these shoes are well cushioned and supportive. They fit, right out of the box.
