    These were so inexpensive I bought a dozen pairs to loan to mittenless kids for recess. They are average to cheap quality, not terribly thick mittens. They are not so cute the kids would like to keep them. So far they are preventing frostbite and getting returned after recess-- exactly right for my purposes.

    I like a lightweight mitten for winter running (I was using socks). I found the thumb a bit short. I ordered medium as a medium woman but would order a large next time.

    I bought these mittens for layering my running mittens/gloves. Light weight, warm and fit nicely over my liner gloves.
