I had purchased the 50L Astra Light and a 40L Astra Light for my wife. Please with both of those. However, this particular pack didn't work well. Equipment loop on the front ripped while coming out of the bag. Sent back. The material seems quality, but I couldn't comment on the durability. Just don't trust the loops.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my younger brother who has never backpacked before. He is 6'4 and in good shape. I figured this pack would be good for him because it can adjust to his size, but because of the price/quality it would be good for a beginner. Comparing it to other brands like Lowe Alpine and Kelty, the pack is not made of the same high-grade material they are, but it is still quality. Bonuses are lots of pockets to store your stuff in, sleeping bag storage at the bottom, and an included rain fly.
