Not a lot of room for layers but it has proven to be plenty warm even at 20 below zero. The only real disappointment has been the zipper. Difficult to get it started and not poor quality for this jacket.

Reviewed by Paul from Williamstown, MA on Sunday, December 23, 2012According to the size chart, I would be a L. But L in this jacket was too small in the chest and it was impossible to move my arms comfortable. I tried an XL and it fit in the chest and shoulders, but was then huge in the waist.
