I bought 4 of these for my upcoming 2.5 month trip to Europe/Africa, and plan to buy more. On my last backpacking trip, I was annoyed by how I had to unpack everything from my backpack in order to get anything out. With these cubes, I'll be able to unpack and repack quickly, assuming I can remember what's in each bag. I bought them in every color to help with the memory part.
If you're wondering about size, here's what I have been able to pack in this half cube:
-5 women's small tanktops and women's small adidas fleece jacket
-5 men's medium Tshirts
-a women's small sweatshirt and adidas jacket
-3 small women's skirts and 3 men's medium Tshirts
The sides of the cube are really flexible, so you have the option of pushing the dimensions length or width-wise. The top zipper is great because you can lift the lid back and have full access to the items inside.

I also use these small bags for everyday sorting needs in my tote or messenger bags. The red is not quite fire engine red, but easier to spot than black!
Easy open and close - not all squared bags are!
